- Teriyaki sauce
STEP 1Lightly season the salmon with black pepper, then coat with oil.
Place the fish flesh side down over direct medium heat for 4 minutes.
STEP 2Turn the fish, then brush on teriyaki sauce over the top. Continue grilling for 4 more minutes.
STEP 3Turn the fish one more time, placing the fillet or steak on a cooler part of the grill.
STEP 4Brush on more teriyaki sauce and grill for 2 more minutes. Serve immediately after removing the salmon from the grill.
